Meet cate.

I have spent the greater part of my life immersed in commodity markets, so you could say they're part of my DNA. My dad owned a vegetable oil company, and some of my earliest memories were conversations about agriculture, markets, and the countless variables that influence them. Long before I understood the business, I understood that timing changes everything.

That curiosity followed me to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where I studied biofuels, and eventually led me to a career spanning trading, research, sales, and contract negotiation. Working across every side of a deal sharpened my ability to navigate complexity, read people, and make thoughtful decisions under pressure.

At the same time, I had always relied on something I couldn't quite explain. I've always been deeply intuitive, drawn to patterns, naturally reading people, and trusting instincts that consistently proved right. When I discovered astrology more than a decade ago, it didn't feel mystical; it felt practical. It gave language and structure to something I'd been doing my entire life. I even began utilizing birth charts while selling fuel in the Texas oil fields, not to predict outcomes, but to better understand the people sitting across the table.

That's ultimately why I created Linea29. I wanted to reframe astrology as what I've always experienced it to be: a practical framework for understanding people, timing, and decision-making. I believe your chart offers valuable insight into your strengths, communication style, and the seasons of life you're moving through, but what you do with that information is always your choice.

My role isn't to tell you what to do. It's to help you see what you couldn't see before, so you can move forward with greater clarity, intention, and confidence.
